I. Interview

Today’s guest is a former Army Bomb Tech who spent 22 years in the military, but found his true calling when he started learning about the science of alcohol. A pressure cooker IED and a little root beer cemented his obsession with moonshine and the rest is history. With his wife by his side he continues to give back to the veteran community through suicide awareness and support; it is my pleasure to welcome Mike Girard, from 300 Days Distillery, to the show.

IV. Outro

A big thanks to Mike, for coming on the show and sharing his story. Keith and I have enjoyed our share of booze on the show, but 3 Hundred Days has one of the coolest origin stories ever. We want to thank Mike for everything he is doing for suicide prevention. It’s always a difficult topic to discuss, but every time we talk about it on the show I think about that one person we could be helping.
